Chapter 6 - While trying to get rid of magpies Jake meets an odd hunter who's good with a rifle. This week complete the Sketch Pad while listening. Get a copy of the Sketch Pad printed out on A4.   8. western need to get the info about pimmy so he sent one of his workers in to get him distracted so then he could find info about pimmy.

    2. Not me, but I remember back in time a few years ago at the Michael Joseph Savage Memorial park at Mission Bay when my friend was jabbed by some angry magpies...

      He was suffering from severe bleeding because of those pesky sharp beaks that those birds have. He was then sent to hospital.

      Don't worry, my friend Connor Southdon is alive and well.

      And he still goes back to the place where he could have died.

  12. Q.1 The magpies become dangerous when mating season cause of the eggs, they don't like people or animals disturbing or stealing their eggs.
    Q.2 The person who was driving the green car is a hunter who wanted to help Jake shoot the magpies.
    Q.8 Vermin is meant by wild animals who annoys/destroy farmers crops like magpies during mating season.

  19. Q1.Magpies are the most dangerous in the breeding season and are dangerous when ever someone comes in the area of 20ft from their tree/nest.

    Q2. The driver of the green van was Scott Gray.

    Q3. Jake preferred Boxing day to Christmas because on christmas day the women of the house changed everything (some good, some bad) and on boxing day he got to go surfing with hs dad for hours like it had been a years before and Steph forgave him for what he had done when he had first met her.

    Q4. The Scott Gray helped Jake to shoot the magpies because it would keep Jake focused on the magpies not what was going on in the house behind him so Western could find out about Pimmy and her location for his magazine/newspaper articul he posts about Milt.

    Q5. Colin has found so far from the dig is Horse muscle fossils. They believe these fossils must have got there from a big storm that in the past must have happened that brought in the fossils with big waves.

    Q6. Jake knew Western had been in the house because he left his horrible odor of sigarrets that he smokes continuously and that the smell was in the room with the computer and the computer screen had on it Pimmy's location and code number. This mad Jake strongly think that Western had been in the house.

    Q7. It is a tool that is used to dig narrow holes.

    Q8. In the story vermin is meant by pest I think because it talks about how vermin is usually shot for instance the magpies. Examples of vermin are maybe possums, magpies, rabbits, stoats...

    Q9. A silencer because that is what is mentioned in the story (this was a bit of a wild guess)
