ReplyDeleteQ3: I think the turtles were killed for their shells and maybe meat? but mostly shells because humans are terrible and we take whatever we can get our hands on.
For your question 1 could you maybe tell me about some other things you would spend your money one and why? Other than that I like you idea and your reasons.

DeleteQ.1 If I was rich I would use some of my money to donate to charities. With the rest of the money I would buy a big house, fancy car. And if there is too much, I would give it to my family including my mom, dad, aunties, uncles and lastly my only sister.

Also, I would help reach the goal of people trying to get people to donate to them on Spark NZ's Give a little website.

Q3. I predict that the turtles that were being tracked were taken by people who wanted them for their shells and their meat. I think these people would probably have come from a different country than New Zealand and the meat of the turtle was maybe eaten and sold for lots of money in what ever country the people may have been from so they wanted the money.
ReplyDeleteQ9. The pro's of tracking a whale is that it helps you to have an idea of how many whales there are left so you can stop them becoming extinct and keep track of any new born whales. This would help tell the scientists if they needed to start a breeding program to keep the species surviving.
